Do I need to know anything before I learn digital marketing at NEXT Academy?
No. Our program was designed for beginners in mind.
However, we do recommend that you should have at least a Facebook and/ or Instagram account for platform familiarity purposes.

Is this just an online course?
Nope, this course offers more than just any other online courses.
This course progresses on a weekly basis, you can follow through and learn the topics weekly by watching the lectures, and completing the exercises.
Apart from that, we will be having monthly learning meet ups (onsite) where you get to learn and asking questions on various topics and strategies. This is a great time to meet new friends and interact with instructors and peers.
Unlike online courses where you learn by yourself, you will get an immersive experience as you progress through the course.
What do I need to prepare for the course?
A laptop with Google Chrome
A working credit/debit card (To activate your Facebook and Google Ads account).
A business idea that you would want to work on. Due to the nature of this Quantum Degree, we recommend that the learning is accompanied with a business idea.
If you don’t have a business idea yet, don’t worry! You can use an existing business that your friends/ family are running as training grounds for digital marketing (with their permission, of course).
What can I learn in 12 weeks? Is it enough?
You should be dedicating around 10 hours per week. Quite often, people would take more time to complete the topics as the exercises would take considerable effort on your end.
Do I need to spend money to run campaigns/ads during the Quantum Degree?
To get real world experience in digital marketing, we encourage students to launch their own campaigns on various platforms like Google Adwords, Google Display Network, Facebook and Instagram Ads.
When you run live campaigns, besides getting a better feel of how these platforms work, you’ll also gain experience on analysing and optimising your campaigns. The amount spent on these platforms will be entirely dependent on your budget, and you can go as low as RM5/day for your campaign duration.
We also understand that some students may feel uncomfortable with spending money to run live campaigns on these platforms, so it is optional (though we really encourage you to run live campaigns to get the most out of the course).
Should I attend the monthly meet ups? What if I can't make it?
Yes, you should! This is the time to meet the instructor and tap into the instructor’s mind on various digital marketing strategies.
You will be notified on the details of the monthly meet up sessions. If you can’t make it physically, we will be broadcasting it LIVE and you can join us virtually.
Do I get 1-on-1 mentorship with the instructor?
You get to message instructors on the online community portal at anytime. During the monthly meet ups, you will get to ask questions and network too.
